JIPIRI / MOLO / ALEKLE
(jee-pee-ree) (moh-loh) (ah-leh-kleh)
Short, high-pitched mini-drums, also known as usually played with lightweight sticks to accompany the Tehoun/Tsekelebe and often painted to match them.
Played in sets of two or more, creating pleasant accompaniment melodies for lead drums to play over.
The mini sized ones also make ideal children's drums.
