ÀPÍNTÍ / GBERESIN / AGBA ILEDI
A powerful "one tone" Yoruba drum Similar to Gbedu, but carved with a central tubular pedestal underneath and side support to steady the drum. It can be played with stick or hand.

A very strong tradition associated with this drum is found amongst the Maroons, particularly in Surinam.
