DUMA GONGONI

Very unique one sided bass drum from the Hausa of North Nigeria.
Very light weight, but with powerful heavy sound. Sticks provided.
Weighs approx 6kg, with 16 inch face x 28 inches tall
Made from thin metal oil drum, with about a cupfull of oil inside, so drum should be stored upsidedown, allowing the oil to keep the skin moist from the inside. More oil can be added through the plug pictured.(Only one cupfull needed!)
