Tall and tuneful conga-like drums of the Ogu/Egun tribe (a subgroup of the Yoruba), used by many Yoruba drum ensembles, sometimes referred to as Igbin drums. They have a warm tone, clean slap and good bass response, due to the drum being raised up by its carved wooden feet. They are played with hands and/or stick and are often painted in a variety of colours. The full set includes Jipri as the support drums.
